All God's precious children deserve "their right" to be apart of a caring, loving, nurturing and stable "forever family". Whether raised by heterosexual or homosexual parents, as long as it's a loving "forever family", isn't this is what's really best for the children? With 50% of heterosexual marriages ending in divorce, the children of these broken homes are the ones who are suffering the most from this. Children of divorced parents are more likely to act out by abusing drugs/alcohol, be sexually promiscuous, drop out of school, suffer emotional disorders or become apart of the epidemic of teen pregnancy. Let us not dismiss the fact that the vast majority of gay people were raised by heterosexual parents. Mr. Stemberger and those who argue children of gay parents will become gay is blatant propaganda and misinformation. Studies have shown, children raised by caring loving gay parents, are more likely to be heterosexual, not gay. The question of what's in the best interest and utmost importance for these chidden? It should be their God given right to be apart of a "forever family". Certainly not be based on prejudice, religious beliefs or one's personal agenda against a segment of people who are more than capable of being loving and caring parents.

I fail to see why some would prefer to see these poor children be bounced from one foster home to another, rather than experience the true blessing of being apart of a "forever family. Many of the children gay singles or same-gender couple want to adopt suffer from severe physical or emotional ailments. I don't see those who would deny gays to adopt, standing in line to adopt these poor children..If your all so concerned with these children, I suggest your time be better spent adopting them, instead of fighting so hard to deny them their right to be adopted by caring and loving people, simply because they're gay. I don't see this as doing what in the best interest of the children, instead, I see this as putting your personal bias and prejudice ahead of what best for them. I don't believe Our lord, God, would agree that his precious children should suffer their right to be apart of a "forever family"
solely to advance you anti-gay agenda.

R.
